A year later and I'm finally back at the Hillside Coffee House. Let me tell you, I am even more surprised and delighted at my experience here. The ham and cheese croissant was melt in your mouth delicious and worth the wait for them to make a fresh batch. The iced cinnamon roll latte was smooth and just the right amount of sweetness. The atmosphere in here is amazing, and the staff makes you feel like this is your home. So many smiles, so much kindness, and amazing smells. If you haven't been here yet and are thinking about trying, then step right in to your home away from home.

We went to Hillside Coffee House for a cup coffee while in the area. it is in a repurposed old school with it's history on display throughout the building. While the coffee was good the bakery was superb. Nothing against Yelp but it deserves a Michelin star. The dough was melt in your mouth good and the fillings and flavors were creative delights. We made sure we were there when they opened the doors the next day Too, Had to wait a little bit as things were just coming out of the oven. Thought about getting the same as I had the day before, but each day brings new delights Looking for an excuse to go to Oak Creek again. When I do it will include a stop at Hillside Coffee Shop.

What a cute little coffee spot! Hillside is a great place to grab a quick coffee, stay and do some work or just relax and enjoy the ambiance. They have a large variety of coffee drinks and do have seasonal drinks. I have had their iced coffee (which they serve with coffee ice cubes - frozen coffee - to not dilute the drink) and various lattes and can say they are always delicious and just the right amount of sweet. Their bakery is also very good and they have a large variety of baked goods to choose from. Staff are very nice and friendly. The owner regularly comes and will talk to customers which I really appreciated!

Probably the best bakery i had in greater Milwaukee You can tell everything is just elevated to another level, without being overly sweet and it's just concentrated with a bouquet of flavors for each piece they create. & Each can be like a work of art. It just blows me away that they do all the stuff custom in house.

First of all, the building is delightful. Having gone to a one-room school (and I'm not well that old), it brought back fond memories. The service, breakfast sandwich, and coffee perfect. I don't drink coffee out of paper or plastic, and I really appreciated a real cup.

This week I made my first visit to Hillside coffeehouse and I've been back nearly every day since! I was not aware of Hillside until an Uber driver mentioned it to me because of their gluten-free offering. Their homemade bakery items (including the gluten-free) are exquisite. So far, I've sampled their gluten-free tarts, muffins, and cupcakes. And all were amazing! While I was there, I found out that they make gluten-free bread every Wednesday AND they also offer pizza every other Friday - including a gluten-free version! (I picked up my first order of six gluten-free pizza slices this Friday and they were amazing. You would never know that they were gluten-free.) I've also enjoyed their iced coffee. Seriously everything has been so good! The staff is extremely friendly and the atmosphere is very pleasant. There are two seating areas - upstairs and downstairs - and it's a great place to enjoy a quiet morning coffee . I am so pleased to have found this little gem!!

This was once a school, now a coffee house with amazing baked goods. There was a line when I arrived and it moved very fast. The ladies working are all extremely friendly and welcoming. There are several tables to relax and enjoy your coffee, and lots of windows with natural light and plants, a very calming place, and there is a whole downstairs as well. I was impressed with my bakery treat and will definitely be back to try more. Not pictured was my chai and that too was delicious, not over spiced, just the way I love it.

I have driven by Hillside so many times since moving to Caledonia. I'm so disappointed that I didn't stop sooner! The building is an old school house with ample seating and fun decor. When you walk in, there is a set of stairs that will take you up to the counter to order treats and coffee. A second ordering station for coffee is in a dining room, which is where the coffee is made. They serve Anodyne coffee, which is one of my favorites. They have a variety of seasonal specials that will suit any taste. Milk options include skim, whole, half and half, oat, and almond. They have a full case of house-made treats that all looked so good that it made it nearly impossible to choose. I decided to try the bourbon iced latte and the cinnamon roll (their specialty). Both were outstanding and I love that the food is served on china with real silverware. Such a cute touch.

Very cute, smiling staff, who will talk you up a storm, and laid back atmosphere. Lots of GF options for sweets and serves Anodyne coffee. Service is slow, but it's because they're so friendly with everyone. Just take your time and enjoy browsing through their knickknacks!
